Our new-look Prescot delicatessen opened earlier this month, and we’ve made a few changes to the layout to make it even easier to get the things you want, without having to queue for so long to pay for them.
It’s always been a challenge, with a delicatessen and bakery counter alongside one another, to let people buy from both in the easiest way possible.
With the new layout, you can now shop from both sections, and only queue once to pay – a common-sense change we think customers old and new will appreciate.
The deli counter is much more self-serve than it has been before, giving you even greater choice over what you buy, and speeding up service even more.
We’ve added more display space to the counters, and that lets us increase the selection of tasty treats on offer to you at any one time – which can only be a good thing!
And we now have a counter where you can buy your favourite M. Ray’s cakes by the slice, so there’s just enough for one generous serving, or for two to share.
It’s all about increasing your choice and improving your service – the bakery counter now has an extra till too, so we can tackle any queues even faster.
Along with the launch of our new website, it’s an exciting time for us, and we hope all of our loyal M. Ray’s customers will like the changes we have made – they may take a little getting used to, but we’re already seeing the benefits.
We invite all customers, old and new, to come and see our new-look Prescot delicatessen. Find us at 39-45 High Street, with our bakery and coffee shop at the front of the building on the main A57 road, and let us know if you like the changes we’ve made, or if you think we could still do things even better.
